Practice makes perfect so the saying goes, however non-has been more true especially when it comes to something that you have to aim at.

The caliber is irrelevant if you just want to shoot well. If you are going to hunt with a specific rifle practice with that rifle.

In these videos there are 3 different scenarios My 470NE Blasé S2 double two shots at 2 hanging clays 25 yards the same rifle on a “charging buffalo’( not loading) target and a speed test with the 416 Rem mag 4 shots 25 yards at clay pigeons.

I am highlighting different techniques you can use to familiarize yourself with your rifle, the point is to find the mistakes and the faults this way you will have a chance to practice getting out of a situation on the range as opposed to facing it first time in a dangerous situation.

Over and above the learning of your rifle you will have the opportunity to shoot under pressure so take your time and only shoot once you have aimed correctly a hole in the right place will stop a charge miss the vital “spot” and your in trouble.

I enjoy doing these type of excises on the range and I hope you get a chance to try these out, they are fun helpful and keep your shooting exciting.

I am headed to Cinegetica in Spain now Booth 232 JWK Safaris so if your around stop by and say hi …
